George Hicker – Founder / President

George Hicker has over 45 years of real estate experience and has been involved in the acquisition, management and disposition of more than $2.25 billion in commercial real estate assets. Mr. Hicker is the Founder and President of Cardinal, responsible for all facets of executive management, which include deal sourcing, capital sourcing, establishing and maintaining relationships with operating partners and ensuring successful investment execution.

Prior to founding Cardinal, Mr. Hicker was a broker with Grubb and Ellis. Mr. Hicker graduated with a B.A. from Syracuse University.

Michael McFarland – Principal

Michael McFarland has over 16 years of commercial real estate experience and has been involved in the acquisition, management and disposition of more than $1.0 billion in commercial real estate assets. Mr. McFarland is responsible for business development and asset management, which include deal sourcing, capital sourcing, establishing and maintaining relationships with operating partners and ensuring successful investment execution.

Prior to Cardinal, Mr. McFarland was a Principal in the San Diego office of Lee & Associates, a commercial real estate brokerage firm. Mr. McFarland graduated with a Degree in Economics from the University of Utah.
